Refund Policy

1. Definitions

• Red Tokens: prepaid platform balance used to fund bounties (posts, comments, upvotes, downvotes).
• Subscription: a recurring plan payment that unlocks tools and, on some plans, monthly included tokens.
• Automod removal: content removed automatically by Reddit's automated filters, with no human moderator action.
• Moderator removal: content removed by a subreddit moderator or mod team after it was live.
• Sitewide filtering: platform-wide Reddit enforcement or filtering that removes content across many accounts at once.

2. All Sales Are Final

ReddBounty operates on a no-refund basis. Red Token purchases, subscription payments, add-ons, and one-time programs are non-refundable once the payment is processed. This includes unused Red Tokens and unused portions of a billing period. Please review your plan and token pack before purchasing.

3. Red Tokens

• Red Tokens are prepaid platform credits, not money, and cannot be converted back to cash.
• Tokens are non-refundable, whether spent, held against an active bounty, or sitting unused.
• Unused tokens never expire while your account is in good standing, so they stay available for future bounties.
• Tokens cannot be transferred or sold to another user.

4. Subscriptions

• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings.
• Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• We do not issue partial, prorated, or unused-time refunds on monthly or annual plans.
• Downgrading takes effect at the next renewal; the difference in price is not refunded.

5. Billing Errors

Genuine duplicate charges, failed transactions that were still billed, and verified billing errors are corrected. Contact hello@reddbounty.com with your account email and the transaction details and we will investigate.

6. Bounty Disputes

If a poster submits proof that is rejected, or a post is removed after approval, either party can open a dispute. Our support team reviews the evidence and decides whether the tokens return to the advertiser's in-platform balance or are released to the poster. This is a token-level resolution inside the platform, not a refund to your payment method.

7. Removals and Token Return Eligibility

Removals are judged on who removed the content and when. Every outcome below is a token movement inside the platform, never a return to your card.

• Automod removal: tokens for the affected job return to your ReddBounty balance automatically once the removal is verified.
• Moderator removal: no token return. The content was live and may have earned impressions, and moderator judgment is outside our control.
• Sitewide filtering: no token return. These events hit many accounts at once and are outside our control.
• Never delivered: if a claimed job is cancelled or expires without a submission, the escrowed tokens return to your balance in full.
• Vote jobs: if the parent post or comment is removed mid-delivery, only the undelivered portion returns to your balance. Delivered votes are not returnable.
• Fraudulent proof: if a submission is later found to be faked or from a banned account, the tokens are returned to the advertiser and the poster's earnings are reversed.

8. Poster Earnings and Payouts

• Earnings are credited once a submission is approved and the review window closes.
• Payout requests are processed on the schedule shown in your earnings dashboard, subject to any minimum threshold.
• Earnings tied to posts that are later removed, deleted, or traced to a banned account can be reversed.
• Payouts sent to details you entered incorrectly cannot be recovered by us.

9. Chargebacks

Open a ticket with us before contacting your bank. Filing a chargeback on a legitimate purchase suspends the account, freezes the token balance, and forfeits any pending earnings while we respond with transaction records to the card network. Accounts with a resolved chargeback against them may be closed permanently.

10. Consumer Rights & Abuse

Nothing in this policy limits refund rights that cannot be waived under mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction. We reserve the right to deny requests that are fraudulent, abusive, or made in bad faith, including chargeback abuse. Accounts found in breach of our Terms of Service are not eligible for any discretionary credit.

11. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the same law and jurisdiction set out in our Terms of Service, and is read together with them. Where the two differ on payments, the Terms of Service control.

• The email address on your ReddBounty account.
• The payment date and amount, or the invoice number.
• The bounty or order link, if the request relates to a specific job.
• A short description of what happened.
